An exciting event took place in mid-January for Montana Connections Business Development Park. Our tenant, Montana Craft Malt, has completed the construction of its new facility and held its ribbon cutting ceremony on January 16th.
Montana Craft Malt is one of the newest tenants of the Park. Their new 10,000 ton malting facility was founded out of a desire to provide Montana brewing, distilling, and food buyers locally sourced, high-quality malt. The completion of the new plant marks a notable accomplishment of the public and private sectors working together to boost the workforce in Butte.
Montana Craft Malt President Jen O’Brien presented the official ribbon cutting of the new plant to partners of the public and private sector, family, and friends. Notable guests of the event included Governor Steve Bullock, Director Tara Rice from Montana Department of Commerce, and Charles Robison from USDA Rural Development.
