Education

The small town feel of Butte, Montana makes it an incredible place to raise a family. Within Butte-Silver Bow County, there are 47 licensed day care providers to take care of your little ones, 13 public schools, and 3 private schools for K-12.  You will always have a quality choice for your child’s education. In addition, Montana Technological University (Montana Tech) is the state’s leading college for engineering and nursing. Highlands College offers 2-year degrees, technical and trade options.

With a little over 36,000 residents, Butte-Silver Bow County is the perfect size community to be able to get to know your neighbors. Butte has recently become known as Montana’s “Festival City” because of the wide variety of events and celebrations throughout the year. The residents of Butte care about one another and preserving the culture of our historic town.
